Making What is Written into a Book

September 2010
So the process begins. Taking many computer files, several hundred pages and making them all look and format the same. Over the years several versions of word processing programs had been used, many different layouts and margins had been randomly selected, different fonts and text sizes, odd paragraph formats were hiding within the text as well as printer commands. This happened accidentally because the early efforts did not establish protocols with a book in mind. Checking spelling, grammar and punctuation consistency throughout. Creating a glossary to explain foreign words and concepts.

An early draft was printed and sent to Greg Melendes for editing. This was a great help and each correction then had to be entered into the computer.
