Photoshop is the new darkroom, I’m so glad I didn’t have to spend hours and hours in the darkroom! Exposing, filtering, dodging, burning, developing, rinsing, drying, well you get the idea. Way back then it was fun, but very long and tedious.
Often I see the phrase or hear the comment, “oh that was Photoshopped” and it portrays dis-approval. Well; think again. Great photographers have always spent more time in the darkroom than in the field with the camera. Yes they started out with some amazing images but they went into the darkroom or now to Photoshop before publishing them.
